Avrasya Tüneli
We have selected case studies demonstrating that cast iron drainage solution are the choice for demanding owners who are looking for durability, acoustic and fire safety for their buildings.
The project
PAM Building supplied nearly 8 km of cast iron pipes and fittings, couplings and accessories for the Eurasia tunnel (Avrasya Tüneli in Turkish). Build in a tube shape, 5 km long and with two levels of road traffic, the tunnel which crosses the Bosphore narrow (from the Black sea to Marmara sea) is meant to link the europeans and asians continental banks from Istanbul’s borders. Dug under the sea, he goes as low as 106 meters deep: A real technical performance which requiered the best materials. A huge acknowledgement of the quality of PAM’s products.
